Purpose
A website is accessible when it allows easy access to the content and services offered, without barriers related to physical or mental disabilities, the devices used, or operational contexts.
Accessibility of the site eipass.com
The EIPASS website has been developed in accordance with the recommendations of the Law No. 4 of January 9, 2004, known as the "Stanca Law." We have adhered to the principles of this law by designing the pages to facilitate navigation with digital reading tools. In particular, the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) of the W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) within the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) have been followed.
We do not use HTML layout techniques based on frames or tables to achieve specific views. HTML tags for tabular data are used exclusively for their original purpose.
All images and non-text objects that provide useful information are accompanied by appropriate textual alternatives, in line with the logic of the usage context.
The portal is also accessible from smartphones and tablets, thanks to Responsive Web Design, which offers a single graphical interface adaptable to three versions of the site (smartphone, tablet, and desktop) based on the device used.
The entire site is navigable even with images and style sheets disabled, thanks to a correct browser configuration. Furthermore, all scripts used can be disabled without compromising the information or functionality for the user.
Testing and Verification Tools
We perform periodic automated checks using tools such as:
- W3C Validator
- WAVE Web Accessibility Versatile Evaluator
- PageSpeed Insights
- Google Search Console - Mobile Optimization Test
